Graveside services for Gerald F. Currier. 92, of Zephyrhills, Florida formally of Massena will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 11:00 am in Hale Cemetery in Norfolk. Gerald died Monday (December 12, 2011at the Gulf Side Hospice Center in Zephyrhills, Florida. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline, a daughter Nancy and her husband Keith Coughlin of Norfolk, NY, two sons Richard and William of Florida, four stepdaughters Lorretta Sills, Diane Eicher both of Dade City, FL, Debra and her husband Kenneth Sloan of Tampa, FL, and Cynthia and her husband Stanley of Zephyrhills, Fl, eight Grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, several stepgrandchildren, stepgreat-grandchildren, one step great-great-grandson recently born in Brasher Falls, NY, along with several nieces and nephews. Gerald was predeceased by a sister Edith Dobbins and three brothers Gordon, Clifton and Carlyle Currier. Gerald was born August 26, 1919 in the town of Brasher the son of William and Dorothy Kirkey Currier. He attended Brasher Schools.

Gerald served in the US Army from 1941-1943. He married Mildred Peacock August 15, 1942 in Louisville, KY. Mildred died May 13, 1991. Gerald worked for ALCOA from 1944-1981 when he retired. He married Jacqueline Waters Wilson May 1, 1999 in Zephyrhills, FL. Gerald was a member of the twenty-five year club at ALCOA, the Massena AmVets post 4, the Massena American Legion post 79, and the Zephyrhills Moose Lodge #2276.
