WATERTOWN- Grace Borello, 94, passed May 8, 2012 at the Samaritan Keep Nursing Home where she had been a resident.
A funeral mass will be 1:30 p.m. Fri., May 11th at St. Anthonys Catholic Church, Watertown. A prayer service will be 1 p.m. at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at the Glenwood Mausoleum.
Calling hours will be 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Fri., May 11th at the funeral home.She was born on July 24, 1917 in Watertown, NY, daughter of Antonio and Rose DiBartello Bastrella, she attended Boone Street School.
She married Patsy Borello on December 12, 1931 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church. Mr. Borello owned and operated Borellos Trucking Co. He passed December 14, 1983.
Mrs. Borello was a store clerk at the Apex Army & Navy Store in Watertown for several years. She enjoyed Bingo, auto racing, was a fabulous cook and a communicate of St. Anthonys Catholic Church.
Among her survivors are her son and daughter in law, Patrick A. and Colleen A. Borello, of Sackets Harbor and Concord, SC; a granddaughter, Tania M. Andre, Watertown; two grandsons, Anthony J. Borello, Willow Grove, PA, Patrick A. and Katie Borello, Broomfield, CO; three great grandchildren, Lillie, Lucie and Lucas Andre; a sister and brother in law, Caroline and Sam Leone, Watertown, several nieces and nephews.
A sister , Mary Baytos died before her.
Donations may be made to St. Anthonys Catholic Church or to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
