A hearing about the environmental impact of the use of F-35 aircraft over the Adirondacks will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Case Middle School, 1237 Washington St.

The hearing, hosted by the Vermont Air National Guard, 158th Fighter Wing, will outline the potential environmental impacts that could come from training activities related to the possible assignment of F-35 aircraft to the unit.

The meeting follows a hearing about the training scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Tupper Lake Train Depot, 37 Depot St., Tupper Lake.

Public comment about the training will be accepted until June 1, and can be sent to Mr. Nicholas Germanos, HQ ACC/A7PS, 129 Andrews St., Suite 332, Langley AFB, VA 236652769.

Copies of the environmental impact statement can be found at www.accplanning.org.
