Artists are still being sought for Ogdensburgs first Maple City Arts Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 2 at the Richard Lockwood Civic Center, 141 W. River St.
For $30, artists can register to display their work in a booth consisting of two 8-foot tables in a 10-foot-by-10-foot space.
This would be a great way for area artists to showcase their work, said Ogdensburg Parks and Recreation Director Matthew J. Curatolo. There is still plenty of time to call, stop-in and register.
The deadline for applications is May 18.
Currently, we have 10 registered artists, but wed love to have at least 20 or more, said Mr. Curatolo. We are inviting people from all over St. Lawrence County and outlining counties to come and share their talents.
Artists interested in participating in the event can download an application by visiting the chambers website at www.ogdensburgny.com.
Completed applications can be mailed to the Ogdensburg Parks and Recreation Department, 100 Riverside Ave., Ogdensburg, N.Y. 13669.
