STAR LAKE - Madrid-Waddington was led by the meet’s co-medalists but unbeaten Norwood-Norfolk won the final three matchups to nip the Yellowjackets (3-3-1) 3-2 in NAC Division II tri-match on Wednesday. N-N downed host Clifton-Fine 5-0 while M-W gained a 4-1 decision over the Eagles.

M-W scored its points against the Flyers in the first two matches where Alex Hammond beat Ryan Thomas 43-44 and Jeff Mott outshot Matt Myers 43-46. But the next three N-N golfers came through with clutch wins as Nick Stewart edged Kyle Bent 45-46, Cole Davey downed Wade Lawrence 46-52 and Schuyler Labarge beat Josh Tiernan 49-52.
