CARTHAGE Indian River rallied for nine runs in the top of the seventh inning on Friday, then held on to beat Carthage, 14-13, to clinch the Frontier League A Division softball regular-season crown.
Paige Morgia went 3-for-4, scored four runs and drove in a pair of runs for the Warriors (7-5, 4-3). Lakeisha Barnes and Ashley Dobmeier each chipped in with three hits.
Courtney Cunningham provided two hits for the Comets (2-8, 2-7).
WATERTOWN 13, IHC 8
Ashley Merritt drove in six runs on three hits, including a three-run double, to help power the host Cyclones to an A Division victory over the Cavaliers at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.
Laney Woolf went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs, and Alyssa Esterline provided two hits, including a double, for Watertown (2-9, 2-6).
Mikayla Kolb supplied two hits, including a triple, and an RBI for Immaculate Heart Central (3-9, 1-8).

Chelsea Claflin stroked a pair of hits as the Comets earned the crossover win against the Red Raiders in Lowville.
Michaela Martin surrendered only two runs on three hits in a complete-game effort for Sandy Creek (15-2, 14-1), which won its ninth straight league contest.
Melena Farney went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Lowville (3-8).

Hope VanBrocklin hit a game-winning sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh to help the Lions rally for a crossover win over the Vikings in Cape Vincent.
Kaite Pitkin drove in a pair of runs for General Brown (14-2, 10-2), which pulled into a tie with Altmar-Parish-Williamstown for first place in the B Division.
Brooke Robinson tripled for Thousand Islands (10-4, 8-4).
ALEXANDRIA 24, BELLEVILLE HENDERSON 0
Jordan Bush generated six RBIs on five hits, including a home run, as the Purple Ghosts blanked the Panthers in D Division play at Alexandria Bay.
Hannah Lynch laced four singles for Alexandria (8-4).
Belleville Henderson fell to 5-7.
COPENHAGEN 14, LYME 5
Taylor Murtha supplied three RBIs as the Golden Knights beat the Indians in a D Division matchup at Chaumont.
Alicia Evans and Melissa Baker both contributed with two hits for Copenhagen (7-8, 6-7).
