CORTLAND – Senior Erin Kollar (East Islip) scored four goals, all in the first half, and junior goalie Shauna Hutchinson (Islip Terrace/East Islip) made 11 saves as nationally second-ranked Cortland defeated 11th-ranked University of Mary Washington (Va.), 12-5, in the NCAA Div. III women’s lacrosse tournament second round. Ogdensburg’s Chelsea Martin, a freshman, played the entire second half for the Red Dragons

Cortland (19-1) won its 18th straight game. The Red Dragons will host The College of New Jersey in the national quarterfinals today at 1 p.m. with the winner advancing to the NCAA Division III Final Four.
