■ LORRAINE — The town will hold hearings on its development plan at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Monday in the municipal building, 20876 County Route 189. Proposals focus on rezoning some area, yet to be determined, as commercial in order to draw new people and business.

■ SACKETS HARBOR — Harbor Paws Pet Grooming and Boutique, a dog-grooming business, will be launched soon at 208 Main St. Owned by Kate Johnson of Sackets Harbor, the shop will offer grooming services for pets and a range of retail products.
