Empire State Development has set dates for its 2012 Consolidated Funding Application workshops. Sessions will provide an overview for local government leaders on how to apply for funding as well as details on funding now available for projects. Last year, the North Country Regional Economic Development Council awarded $785 million for job creation and community projects.

Workshops scheduled in the north country include: Watertown, 1 to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Dulles State Office Building; Lake Placid, 2:30 to 5 p.m. June 5, ORDA Convention Center; and Plattsburgh, 1 to 3:30 p.m. June 8, SUNY Plattsburgh. To register for workshops, visit www.regionalcouncils.ny.gov.
