CANTON - A Gouverneur man was sentenced to prison Monday for five years by St. Lawrence County Judge Jerome J. Richards for having sex with a 12-year-old girl.

Eric J. Wood-Delgado, 19, of 51 Dale Road, pleaded guilty to second-degree rape. He will also serve eight years of post-release supervision.

Wood-Delgado was accused by police of engaging in oral and anal sexual acts with the girl from Nov. 21 to Tuesday. He also is accused of sending nude pictures from his phone to his victim’s phone to invite the girl to have sex, according to police reports.
