Two Fort Drum men were intercepted early Sunday in a stairway at McAuley Hall, 218 Stone St., while they were trespassing in the building, according to Watertown police.

Cory M. Gagnon, 22, and Sean T. Ginn, 20, told officers during their 3:45 a.m. alleged intrusion that they wanted to go onto the roof to get a view of the city, police said.

They are summoned to Watertown City Court to face third-degree criminal trespass charges.
