STOCKHOLM A Norfolk man was charged Sunday evening with felony first-degree reckless endangerment after state troopers said he shot his friend in the leg.
Troopers said Shane B. Mossow, 25, shot his friend in the right leg with a .22 rifle after his friend insisted he shoot him to see how it feels.
The shooting occurred at approximately 5:00 p.m., off the Southville-West Stockholm Road, troopers said.
The victim was taken to Canton-Potsdam Hospital and transferred to Fletcher Allen Hospital in Burlington where he is expected to make a full recovery.
Mr. Mossow was taken to the St. Lawrence County jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
