The Jefferson County Sheriffs Department is hopeful that somebody can help identify a man and woman who are suspected of using a stolen debit card April 28 at Target, outer Arsenal Street, and another store.
The card, belonging to Janet Johnson, was stolen from her purse at Sams Club, where she was shopping, and was quickly used at the other stores for two purchases, a detective said. The amounts of the purchases were not disclosed.
Both suspects are estimated to be in their late 20s. The man is slim, about 6 feet, 2 inches tall, has blonde hair and facial hair, and was wearing a blue earring, blue jeans and a gray long-sleeved shirt with designs on back and front, likely a skull on the latter.
His companion is about 5 feet tall and about 120 pounds, has brown eyes and light brown hair with highlights, and was wearing a blue sweatshirt.
Informants can call the sheriffs office at 788-1441 or 786-2674, or submit to http://co.jefferson.ny.us/ftp/Sheriff/IllegalActivity.htm anonymously.
