■ GOUVERNEUR — The village Board of Trustees agreed Tuesday to advertise for bids to demolish 45 Austin St., which it bought for $1 in November from St. Lawrence County.

■ LOWVILLE — A bird conservation workshop scheduled for Saturday morning at the state Department of Environmental Conservation field office at 7327 Route 812 has been canceled.

■ HENDERSON — The Henderson Garden Club will hold its plant sale and craft show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Henderson Fire Hall, 8939 Route 178. For information, call Patricia B. Walker, the club’s president, at 938-7489.

■ CANTON — A portion of Route 310 outside of the village will be closed from Monday through Thursday for the installation of a CSX railroad crossing. During the closure, traffic will be detoured along Judson and Court streets to Main Street.
