CANTON - Ten participants from the St. Lawrence Golf Ladies League kicked off the 2012 season with our first official Ladies Day tournament. The weather cooperated and the games of the day were Low Gross, Low Net and Chip Ins.

The winners of the day were:

Low Gross: Pat Harrington 92, Julie Degone 93.

Low Net: Toleda Mathews75, Lennie McKinnon 81

Chip ins: Candy LaMacchia on hole #7 and Pat Harrington on hole #2.

The game for next week will be to count only putts.
