Planck captures win at Mohawk

HOGANSBURG — Dale Planck won his first race of the season Friday night at the Mohawk International Raceway.

Planck held off all challengers to win the small-block modified feature. Todd Stone finished second and Carey Terrance finished strong and took third.

Dylan Evoy, who won the sportsman points title a year ago at the track, won his first race at the speedway this season. Brandon Hagan and Brent Kelsey finished in the top three.

Dion Oakes crossed the finish line by a full straightaway over PJ Peters in the pro stocks feature. Marc Lalonde finished third. Mathieu Robinson won his second straight mod lites feature. Bryan Green finished second and Matt Meuten took third. After finishing second last week in the bandits feature, Ernie Cree won Friday night’s race. Stuart Mossow finished second and Mathieu Aubin was third.

McCreadie at Can-Am

Watertown native Tim McCreadie returns to Can-Am Motorsports Park in LaFargeville on Wednesday night to compete in the SUNY Canton Shoototut in the modified feature.

McCreadie, who won a World of Outlaw late model tour race earlier this month, will find stiff competition in the feature. The winning race team will collect $3,000.

Racing will also be held in the sportsman and late model divisions. The feature winners in the three divisions will earn a guaranteed position in their respective divisions for the Outlaw 200 Weekend at the Fulton Speedway in September.
