ENDANGERING THE WELFARE - MASSENA - Village police charged Heather S. Olmstead, 28, of 152 East Orvis St., Massena, with endangering the welfare of a child at 2 p.m. Sunday at 72 Woodlawn Ave. Olmstead was reportedly babysitting a six-year-old male, but she was not aware of the child’s location. He had been gone from her care for over an hour when he was found down the rtoad at a neighbor’s residence.



TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Reese McCalll III, 29, of Smyrna, Ga., with failure to obey a traffic control device at 2:37 a.m. Sunday on Andrews Street.



UNSAFE TIRE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Jonathan D. Hamelin, 27, of 23 Coonors Road, Hogansburg, for operating a vehicle with an unsafe tire and no distinctive plate during a traffic stop at 9:05 a.m. Saturday on Route 37.
