CANTON — A St. Lawrence County woman filed a lawsuit in state Supreme Court Thursday charging a Potsdam movie theatre with failing to keep their business in a safe condition.

According to the lawsuit, Jane Moore fell inside a theatre in March 2009 at J.S. Cinemas because the aisle was not properly lit. The fall caused her physical pain and injury.

Ms. Moore accuses the theatre of allowing the aisle to exist in a dangerous manner and failing to warn people, the lawsuit says.

Ms. Moore is asking for a money judgment for medical expenses.
