POTSDAM - The Potsdam Police Department will be taking part in a Mock DWI at Potsdam High School on Wednesday.
Students will start the morning learning about more about driving while intoxicated and distracted driving.
Trooper Mark McDonnell, with assistance from Michele James of St. Lawrence CountyStop-DWI, will be presenting a 30 minute program to high school students. Immediately after this presentation, at approximately 8:15 a.m., juniors and seniors will then witness a Mock DWI accident scene.
Taking part in this Mock-DWI are officers of the Potsdam Police Department, members of the Potsdam Volunteer Rescue Squad, Potsdam Fire Department and Garner Funeral Home.
