Funeral services for 58-year old Parishville resident Mr. Steven Harold Wilson will be held at the Seymour Funeral Home in Potsdam on Friday, May 25th, 2012 at 8:00 PM with Pastor Andrew Reese officiating. Burial will be private for the family in the Hopkinton-Ft. Jackson Cemetery. Friends may call at the Seymour Funeral Home in Potsdam on Thursday, May 24 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM, and on Friday May 25th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 until the time of the funeral at 8:00 PM. Mr. Wilson died at Canton-Potsdam Hospital on May 19, 2012.

Survivors include his wife Gaile, two sons, Joshua Wilson and Timothy (and his wife Erin) Wilson all of Parishville, as well as two daughters, Mrs. Jason (Angela) Day of Elkland, PA, and Mrs. Jeffrey (Lindsay) Ransom of Brigham City, Utah. Steven is also survived by two brothers, Dean Wilson and his wife Cheryl of Parishville, and Thomas and his wife Patricia Wilson of Elko, Nevada, along with a sister, Mrs. Frank (Katheryn) Perry of Parishville and a Sister in Law Louella Wilson also of Parishville. Steven was the proud grandfather of Jacob and Casey Jane Wilson and Hanna Day.

Steven was pre-deceased by his parents, an infant son, Harold Steven Wilson, and a brother Alan L. Wilson.

Born in Potsdam, New York on April 28, 1954 the son of Harold E. and Gladys (Champney) Wilson, Steven was a graduate of Parishville-Hopkinton Central School. He married Gaile Gee on June 26, 1976 in Parishville, NY. He was a member of the Parishville-Hopkinton Central School Board of Education, the St. Lawrence-Lewis County BOCES School Board, and the Parishville Baptist Church.

Steven was employed as a truck driver in the family bulk milk transportation business his father first started- Harold Wilson and Sons Bulk Milk Service.

If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association or to the charity of one’s choice.
