CANTON — A Hermon woman was charged Tuesday by St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

Danielle L. Holmes, 28, of 4608 County Route 24, allegedly drove the vehicle into a ditch on Minor Street after taking it from a family member’s house without permission.

She was also charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and moving from lane unsafely. She was issued appearance tickets for Town Court.
