POTSDAM — Clarkson University baseball player David Kinney, whose career ended a few weeks ago, was selected to the first team of the All-New York Region on Tuesday.

Kinney, who repeated as Liberty League Player of the Year, led the conference in batting at a .467 clip, which ranked fifth in the country. He holds school records for hits (198), batting average (.402), slugging percentage (.637), total bases (314), doubles (51), home runs (19) and extra-base hits (74).
