FELONY DWI - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Martin R. Berger, 37, of Norfolk with a felony count of driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop at 3:46 a.m. Wednesday on the Ames Road in the town of Potsdam. He was also ticketed for failure to stop before entering a roadway.
STOLEN PROPERTY - WADDINGTON - Ogdensburg-based state police charged Austin B. Villnave, 17, of Massena with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. The charge stemmed from an incident reported to troopers at 8:51 p.m. May 19 in the town of Waddington.
BURGLARY - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police charged Jason J. Malone, 33, of Massena with third-degree burglary Wednesday afternoon. State police said the arrest stemmed from an incident reported to troopers at 4:30 p.m. April 25 from the town of Norfolk. Malone was arraigned in Norfolk Town Court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility. As part of that investigation, Chad A. Phillips, 31, of Norfolk with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
CRIMINAL SEX ACT - MOIRA - Malone-based state police charged George W. Fishel, 28, of Colonia, N.J., with first-degree criminal sex act with a victim under 11 years of age. Troopers said the arrest stemmed from a complaint made to state police at 8:39 p.m. May 7 from the town of Moira.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - Troopers from the Malone and Massena stations investigated a number of property damage accidents Wednesday and Thursday. They included:
■ A two-vehicle accident at 4:17 p.m. Wednesday on County Route 38 near Cemetery Street in the town of Norfolk. Troopers identified the drivers as Barry L. Lunderman, 51, of Massena and Thomas C. McCarthy, 63, of Norfolk.
■ Jeffrey A. Clark, 41, of Massena was involved on a one-vehicle accident at 5:15 a.m. Thursday on County Route 37 near the Maple Ridge Road in the town of Brasher.
■ Marijo E. Thompson, 49, of Brasher Falls and John W. Russell, 45, of Brushton were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 7:54 a.m. Wednesday on state Route 95 at West Road in the town of Moira.
■ Irving E. Tuttle, 74, of North Bangor and Lisa A. Billow, 49, of Brushton were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 1:14 p.m. Wednesday on County Route 3 near County Route 4 in the town of Fort Covington.
