Two women suffered hand cuts Friday evening while one of them was wielding a large kitchen knife, according to Watertown police.
The disturbance occurred shortly before 8 p.m. at 116 Keyes Ave.
Amber M. Come, 24, of 227 Stone St., was charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. She was detained in the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building to await arraignment.
Police charged her in an assault upon Christine A. Countryman, 46, Apt. 4, who suffered three cuts. Both women were treated at the scene by Guilfoyle Ambulance personnel, and later were taken to Samaritan Medical Center.
Ms. Come is charged with the weapon offense because she has been convicted of a crime. She was sentenced May 10 in Jefferson County Court to five years probation for attempted third-degree robbery.
