A 24-year-old Watertown woman experienced a temporary loss of vision Wednesday night while being placed in a choke hold by her husband, according to Watertown police.
Police arrested Trebor L. Moore, 23, of 148 Duffy St., Apt. B, on charges of criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree criminal mischief and harassment.
He was released to the custody of military authorities following arraignment Thursday in City Court.
At 10:32 p.m. Wednesday, Mr. Moore allegedly wrapped his arm around Stacy L. Moores neck, placing her in a choke hold and causing her to become dizzy, police said. He also threw her down on their bed, got on top of her and pinned her down, police alleged.
Mr. Moore also is accused of ripping her shirt.
