MASSENA - Last Monday nights Massena Womens Softball matchups produced the following results.
A DIVISION
American Legion 7, Massena Savings and Loan 3: Diane Miller pitched the win and contributed a 2-4 outing at the plate. Susan Macaulay anchored a balanced offense with four hits. Kristin McKeel and JJ Jones had two hits apiece. Kim Hill, Tricia Childs, Ashley Hawn, Sue Boslet and Jill Currier all had solo hits.
Laneuvilles 11 Ale House 5: Jaylene Johnston tossed the win and went 2-3 at the plate. Dolly Johnston and Liz MacDougall led the offense with a 4-4 night. Karen Stowell and Sheils Mannix each went 3-4. Becky Good and Brittany Avery each reach base twice while Kelly McCann and Brittany Williamson had solo hits.
For Ale House, Klarrysa Paige and Lacey Thompson connected for three hits apiece. Ashley Pryce, Tee Bigtree and Jen Zagrobelny had two hits each while Danielle Bevins and Jess Guerin both singled once.
Another A Division game on Monday saw Dars-Curran Renewable beat Ductman on Demand 7-0.
B DIVISION
Nadeaus 7, Brainards 5: Renee King and Janelle Mossow both had triples.
In the other B Division games played on Monday, Kar Klean Inc. edged Squadron 1479 by a 2-1 margin, Coachs Corner outscored Bowlmor 16-11and Guys-Delmar downed Open Net 15-10.
