NORFOLK - The Norwood-Norfolk modified baseball team closed out a successful season on a disappointing note, falling 4-3 to Canton last Saturday.

Coached by Jamie St. Andrews, the modified Flyers finished the season with a 10-2 record.

In the loss to Canton, Peter Jarvis went four innings in taking the loss. Zack Benware doubled and Tristen Pettit singled to highlight the offensive effort.

“I would like to thank Ogdensburg Pepsi bottlers for donating 100 gatorade squirt bottles to NNF boys and girls modified and varsity teams,” St. Andrews noted following the season finale.
