CANTON The game of the day was to count only putts at the Canton Women’s Golf Association action at the St. Lawrence University Golf and Country Club.

First place with 28 putts went to Patti Francis and second place with 33 putts went to Julie Degone

The chip in winner was Debbie Ormasen on the first hole.

In the Green Leaves tournament last Sunday Mary Ann Axtell, Karen Dupree,Sandy Fadden, Patti Francis, Gloria Gardner, Candy LaMacchia, Toleda Mathews, Debbie Ormasen, and Debbie Prier played well.
