PIERREPONT - Firefighters from Colton and Pierrepont battled a blaze reported at 7:02 p.m. Saturday at 449 Orebed Road in the town of Pierrepont.

St. Lawrence County Central Dispatch said the garage and one vehicle on property owened by Keith Pcolar were declared a total loss.

Firefighters received mutual aid from Hannawa Falls, and Colton Rescue also responded to the fire scene.

Canton and Parishville firefighters were on standby.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
