CANTON — A domestic disturbance in the Champion Trailer Park led to a Canton woman’s arrest Saturday morning.

St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies charged Amie L. Remi, 41, with misdemeanor criminal contempt and second-degree harassment after they were called to the trailer park. Deputies said she threw a box fan at her boyfriend, violating a no-contact order of protection that had been issued by Ogdensburg City Court.

She was arraigned in town of Pierrepont Court and taken to the St. Lawrence County jail on $500 bail pending further action in Canton Town Court. State police assisted at the scene.
