FOLLOWING TOO CLOSELY - MASSENA - Village police ticketed David W. Remick, 83, of Brasher Falls for following too closely following a three-vehicle crash at 3:18 p.m. Wednesday on Main Street. Police said Remick was southbound on Main Street when he failed to stop for two vehicles stopped on Main at Andrews Street. He rearended a vehicle being operated by Genevieve M. Dox, 75, of Massena, pushing her vehicle into a vehicle being operated by David W. Laclair Jr., 40, of 303 Haverstock Road, Massena. Dox was trasnported to Massena Memorial Hospital by the Massena Rescue Squad with a complaint of back pain.
ILLEGAL TINT - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Stephen A. Larock Jr., 42, of Massena for operation of a vehicle with illegally tinted windows and with inadequate plate lamps following a traffic stop at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday on Haskell Street.
SEATBELT VIOLATION - MASSENA - Village police ticketed David K. Whelan, 55, of Cook Street Road, Massena, for failure to wear a seatbelt (driver) following a traffic stop at 10:35 a.m. Thursday on East Hatfield Street.
UNREGISTERED VEHICLE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Clifton R. Anderson, no age available, of Lynn Haven, Fla., with operation of an unregistered and uninspected motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 11 a.m. Thursday on Commerce Drive.
NO SEATBELT - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Jeffrey D. Wolcott, 24, of state Route 56, Masssena, for no seatbelt (passenger) following a traffic stop at 11:27 a.m. Thursday on East Hatfield Street.
