LOWVILLE The Lowville Academy and Central School District board plans to re-interview three superintendent finalists next week.
Some questions came up that they wanted to explore further with each candidate, said Jack J. Boak, district superintendent of the Jefferson-Lewis Board of Cooperative Educational Services, which is assisting in the search to replace retiring Superintendent Kenneth J. McAuliffe.
School board members on Monday night reviewed more than 40 pages of comments from student, staff and community interviews conducted in late April.
The boards next interview session is set for June 6.
Finalists are Rick T. Moore, superintendent of Belleville Henderson Central School District; Joanne I. Shelmidine, superintendent of Remsen Central School District in Oneida County, and Paul W. Mooney, principal of Howard G. Sackett Technical Center in Glenfield.
