Joshua D. Mantle, 23, of 314 Gale St., was arrested early Thursday on allegations that he threatened his neighbor with a steak knife.
He was to be arraigned Thursday in City Court on charges of felony weapon possession and second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor.
The threat was directed about 12:05 a.m. against Thomas E. Rose II, 22, of 312 Gale St., police said. Mr. Mantle also has pending in City Court a criminal-mischief count lodged April 10 when he was accused of damaging a grill owned by Mr. Rose.
The weapon charge is a felony because Mr. Mantle was convicted of a crime, criminal mischief, in 2008, which makes it illegal for him to possess a weapon.
