MASSENA Serving veterans of the north country for20 years, Massena Memorial Hospital continues to honor veterans at the first Military and Veterans Appreciation Day and Career Fair from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 16 at Clarkson Universitys Cheel Arena.
Massena Memorial Hospital seeks to strengthen the veterans network and support services at the upcoming event by offering a health fair with blood pressure readings, pulse oximetry, informational brochures on how to become enrolled in the hospitals VA clinic, give a ways, a chance to speak with social worker Sheila Hamilton and much more.
We are proud to be associated with the first Military and Veterans Appreciation Day and Career Fair and appreciate all of the efforts that are being put forth to support the veterans. We want to continue to foster and further our relationship and growth in providing services to those veterans in need, Mark Brouillette, senior director of Ancillary Services at MMH, said.
The hospital has been serving veterans of the north country for one third of the hospitals existence. It currently serves in excess of 1,000 veterans per month; offering primary care, mental health counseling, prescription program, nutritional counseling, womens health, photo-ID on site, lab and x-rays.
