Henry Kriescher passed away from cancer on May 27, 2012 in Shawano, Wisconsin. Henry was bornthere on March 20, 1942. He grew up farming with his Mom and Dad, Francis and Henry Kriescherand eleven brothers and sisters.

Henry was married to Rosemary for 24 years and is survived by two children, Kevin who lives andteaches in Baltimore, Maryland and Amy who lives in France with her husband Chris, son Lyle anda child on the way.

Henry and Susan were married in 1996 and moved to Shawano, Wisconsin. Susan’s daughter Arianlives in New York City.

Henry taught Social Studies and Economics at Potsdam High School from 1977 to 1998 when heretired. During those years he coached boys and girls cross country indoor and outdoor track, girl’svarsity track and JV basketball.Henry gardened and ran, built his house and a barn, published poetry, picked berries and bakedsquash pies for his family, his neighbors and the high school staff.

From Shawano to Potsdam we have just begun to miss him.
