CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - MASSENA - Village police charged Spencer A. Konitsiotis, 34, of 96 North Main St., Massena, with third-degree criminal mischief and two counts of obstruction of governmental administration following an incident at 1:45 a.m. Friday on Andrews Street. Police said Konitsiotis became unruly when he was being taken into custody on a warrant held by the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department. He reportedly kicked the driver’s side door of a village police patrol car and refused to comply with police officers’ orders directing him to have no further contract with a female that was with him on Andrews Street. He was turned over to the sheriff’s department on the warrant.

INSUFFICIENT TAIL LAMP - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Shelly M. Lauber, 43, of Massena for operation of a vehicle with insufficient tail lamps following a traffic stop at 10:07 a.m. Friday on Main Street.

NO INSURANCE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Janet A. Scott, 57, of Massena for operation of a vehicle with no insurance and with a suspended registration following a traffic stop at 10:21 a.m. Friday on Main Street. Police said they had the vehicle towed.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT - CANTON - Canton-based state police charged Mary M. Downing, 30, of Rensselaer Falls with aggravated driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop at 1:42 a.m. Wednesday on County Route 14 in the town of Canton. As part of that investigation, troopers charged Shane H. Parsons, 26, of Canton with second-degree criminal contempt Thursday afternoon. He was arraigned in local court, and bail was set at $1,000.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - CANTON - Canton-based state police charged Gary L. Manford, 45, of Fulton with unlawful possession of marijuana and James R. Allen, 47, of Fulton with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop at 12:27 p.m. Thursday on state Route 11 at Jameson Road.

ASSAULT - FORT COVINGTON - Malone-based state police charged Colleen L. Boyea, 21, of Malone with third-degree assault and second-degree menacing following an incident reported at 11:19 a.m. Thursday from the town of Fort Covington. She was taken into custody at 128 Pike St., Fort Covington.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - DICKINSON - Malone-based state police investigated a one-vehicle property damage accident at 2:26 p.m. Thursday on County Route 5, near Port Kent Road, in the town of Dickinson. Troopers said the driver was Donald L. Jenkins, 67, of Constable.
