CANTON -The St. Lawrence Eastern Lake Ontario Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management will hold a series of information sessions about invasive species, which are linked to damage to agricultural, ecological and recreational areas.
The sessions will provide information about the species, their impact and how individuals can become involved in preventing their spread.
People who wish to attend must register before attending, which can be done for free by visiting www.tinyurl.com/6w9ycag, emailing sconley@tnc.org or calling 387-3600, extension 23.
The three information sessions will be held:
■ From 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the St. Lawrence County Cooperative Extension Learning Farm Classroom, 2043 state Highway 68, Canton.
■ From 7 to 9 p.m. on June 21 at the Lewis County Cooperative Extension Office, 5274 Outer Stowe St., Lowville.
■ From 7 to 9 p.m. on July 26 at the Jefferson County Cooperative Extension. 203 North Hamilton St., Watertown.
