POTSDAM - The Potsdam Town Board unanimously awarded bids to the following contractors Tuesday for the construction of the town hall:

■ General Construction - Harvey Excavation and Construction of Chase Mills.

■ Mechanical - Empire Northeast of Gouverneur.

■ Plumbing and fire protection - Skelley Contractors of Ogdensburg.

■ Electrical - Collins-Hammond Electrical Contractors of Ogdensburg.

The projected cost for the project is $1,763,250. Construction will start next month and is slated for completion in November.
