CJs-McDuffs and Chips Place netted North Country Mens Summer Soccer wins at SUNY Potsdam on Wednesday.
CJs-McDuffs 5, Frary Funeral Home 3: At the turf field, Adam Parker netted a pair of first half goals then set up another by Franco Bari in the second as CJs-McDuffs broke away from a 2-2 halftime tie for the win.
Bari finished with a pair of goals while Tyler Gallagher closed out the scoring off an assist from Zach Votra. Tony Betrus and Jason Norman also tallied solo helpers.
Ian Amo and Ryan Frary scored in the losing cause.
Chips Place 2, Vino Vidi Vici 0: At the Route 56 field, Ryan Bercume and Scott Bartenstein both scored on plays set up by Joe Chiarenzelli to account for the only goals of the game. Ben Steinberg posted 11 saves backstopping the win.
Parishville 1, CKON FB 0: Jayden Pernice handled all but one of the 11 shots he faced working the crease in the loss, allowing the only goal of the contest on a penalty kick with 10 minutes left in regulation.
Pepsi-The Place 8, Ogdemsburg AMP 0: Matt Gladle led a balanced attack with three goals. Kyle Manke and Mike ONeill struck for two goals apiece while Grant Prudhomme netted a singleton and Billy Gemmill made six saves backstopping the shutout.
