CANTON A lawsuit was filed Tuesday in state Supreme Court by a train conductor who was severely injured while dismounting a train in July.
David Sullivan accused CSX of failing to provide a reasonably safe place to work. He also accused the Jacksonville, Fla., company of being negligent in its care of the ballast.
Mr. Sullivan suffered a severe hip injury, according to court documents. He is asking for a monetary judgment for loss of income and medical expenses.
His attorney is Charles D. Steinman, Victor.
