Massena Women’s Softball results listed


MASSENA - The Massena Women’s Softball matchups from this past Monday produced the following results.

Blue House Crew Squadron 1479 11, Guy’s-Delmar 0: Mandy Francis led the winning offense with two hits, inlcuding a three-run homerun. Amanda King and Amy Grenier connected for two singles each. Tanya Conto, Sam Phillips, Melanie LaBelle and Brandi King each rapped solo singles while Jenn Moulton tossed the shutout.

Massena Savings and Loan 6, Laneuville’s 3: Liz MacDougal went 3-3 to spark the winning offense. Becky Byrnes launched a triple while Kelly McCann, Jane Bishop, Brittney Avery, Brittney Williamson, Bridgette Teele and Jaylene Johnston all had solo hits.

Hill Top Inflatables 7, Dar’s-Curran Renewable 6: Kim Burns fanned two and walked none to pitch the win.

Verville’s Bud 12, Ductman Mechanicals 0: Sarah Thayer anchored a potent Verville’s Bud offense with three hits, including a double, two RBI and a runs scored. Danielle Colterman singled, doubled, drove in two runs and scored another. Jen Francis had a single, three RBI and two runs scored. Jane Judware connected for a grand slam while Molly McCuin and Jodi Belair both finished with solo singles and two runs scored.

In two other games reported from Monday, Kar Klean outscored Open Net 15-1 and Coach’s Corner downed Nadeau’s 12-2.

MONDAY’S GAMES: 5:30 p.m. - Massena Savings and Loan vs. Ductman on Demand (Alcoa 1), Brainard’s vs. Kar Klean (Alcoa 2), Verville’s-Bud vs. Landeuville’s (Bushnell 1), Open Net vs. Bowlmor (Bushnell 2); 6:45 p.m. - Guy’s-Delmar vs. Coach’s Corner (Alcoa 1), American Legion vs. Dar’s-Curran Renewable (Alcoa 2), Hill Top Inflatables vs. ALe House-King’s Insurance (Bushnell 1), Nadeau’s vs. Squadron 1479 (Bushnell 2).
