CANTON — North Country Public Radio’s Brian Mann has received a 2012 National Edward R. Murrow Award for best radio documentary for “The Road from 9/11: How the war on terror changed one north country family.”

The documentary was produced for the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attack and tells the story of how the event shaped the lives of a Saranac Lake family: Col. Eric Olsen, an Army National Guard chaplain; his wife, Susan; and their sons, Garth and Evan.
