Watertown police charged Theodore N. Kern III, 36, of 1737 Burns Ave., Apt. D, with endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment about 5:35 p.m. Saturday at his residence.

He is accused of pushing and kicking his wife, Heather M. Kern, Saturday evening in the presence of their three children — ages 6, 4 and 2 — and damaging his wife’s laptop computer, valued at $500.

He was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment Sunday in Watertown City Court.
