GLENS FALLS Brandon Cipolla smacked a bases-clearing double in the top of the sixth inning to help lead the Watertown Wizards to an 8-3 Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League win over the Glens Falls Golden Eagles at East Field Stadium on Saturday night.
The victory gives Watertown a perfect 3-0 record on the road this season.
Former Immaculate Heart Central standout Dustin Exford drove in pair of runs for Watertown (5-4). Nick Bradley picked up the win, hurling six innings and giving up one run.
Mike Clarkson was saddled with the loss for Glens Falls.
The Wizards jumped out to a 3-0 lead on the Golden Eagles (4-4) after four innings. Brandon Matthews drove in Glens Falls first run in the fifth.
Watertown then added a pair of runs in the seventh by taking advantage of defensive miscues by Glens Falls, including two errors and a wild pitch.
The Golden Eagles tacked on runs in the seventh and the ninth.
The Wizards will face the Amsterdam Mohawks tonight at 5 at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.
