MASSENA - Village police are investigating the theft of three late model Cadillac Escalades from Fay Motors this past weekend.
Massena Village Police Chief Timmy J. Currier said investigators are working to determine when the three previously owned sports utility vehicles were stolen from the 10 Willow St. automobile dealership.
Weve narrowed it down to from after the close of business at 1 p.m. Saturday to when they opened this morning. But we have On Star information that should assist us, he said.
Mr. Currier said two of three vehicles have been recovered. He said a 2008 Escalade was found parked behind the former St. Josephs Social Hall on Bayley Road and a second was damaged in an automobile accident in Quebec. He said the 2010 Escalade involved in the accident was seized by the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Department. A 2007 Escalade is still missing, police said.
The burglar(s) entered the Fay Motors building through a window in the rear of the building, police said.
