■ The state’s Free Fishing Days weekend is Saturday and Sunday. It allows for fishing in state waters without a license.

nFELTS MILLS —The state Department of Transportation said milling and paving work from the intersection of routes 3 and 342 and ending in the hamlet will continue until this evening. Flaggers will direct traffic.

n NEW BREMEN — The Town Council has scheduled a special meeting at 7 p.m. Monday to vote on a tentative agreement between the town and Adirondack International Speedway that could lead to reopening the track.

nLYONS FALLS — The Lewis County Chamber of Commerce will hold a business after hours from 5 to 7 p.m. today behind Falls Pharmacy on McAlpine Street. The cost for the event, sponsored by the pharmacy and the Lyons Falls History Association, is $4 per person.
