PARISHVILLE - The Parishville U17 Girls opened the 2012 Select Summer Soccer season by pulling away to a 5-0 win at home over Harrisville on Monday.

Brianna Hayes opened the scoring off an assist from Nicole White for the lone goal of the first half. Emily Sloan and Kodi Perkins broke the game open by breaking through for two goals each in the second half. Michaela Cole helped set up three of them while White picked up a second assist.

Jessica James and Jenna Converse combined to stop shots sharing shutout honors.

Parishville returns to action on Wednesday on the road against Brasher Falls starting at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Lawrence Central varsity field.
