MENACING - MADRID - Canton-based state police charged Tomas A. Cruz, 35, of Madrid with third-degree menacing, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, second-degree aggravated harassment and second-degree harassment following a complaint filed with troopers at 1 p.m. Tuesday from the town of Madrid. He was arraigned in local court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
CRIMINAL POSSESSION MARIJUANA - ST. REGIS FALLS - Malone-based state police charged William C. Kennedy, 22, of Tupper Lake with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana following an incident at 4:17 p.m. Tuesday on the Blue Mountain Road in the town of Waverly. Troopers said Kennedy possessed more than 2 ounces of marijuana. He was released on an appearance ticket.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - BOMBAY - Malone-based state police investigated a one-vehicle property damage accident at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday on Broad Street, near County Route 32, in the town of Bombay. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by Richard P. Petell, 48, of Brushton.
