GREAT BEND Three people were taken to Carthage Area Hospital on Sunday afternoon after their two vehicles collided at routes 3 and 26, according to state police.
The accident occurred about 2 p.m. when Nancy A. Booking, 57, of 65 Anderson Ave., Deferiet, who was eastbound on Route 3, attempted to make a left turn, troopers said. She collided with a westbound auto operated by Jean-Francois M. Milot, 36, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, police said. Both motorists were facing yellow traffic lights as they entered the intersection, police said.
Ms. Booking suffered a leg injury. Mr. Milot complained of arm pains, and his wife, Cassandra, 28, had abdominal pain, police said.
No summonses were issued, police said.
