DEXTER — Rustie A. Peck, 33, of 23144 Old State Road, was arrested Tuesday night by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies on allegations that he punched his wife in the face and back of the head in the presence of a child.

He is charged in warrants with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

Deputies allege he struck Nicome A. Peck, 31, about 9 p.m. June 19 at their residence.
